REPRESENTATION
The law firm of ATTORNEY FOR COURT represents Property Owner/Landlords in the eviction of non paying tenants. Upon Agreement, the law firm of ATTORNEY FOR COURT will represent you in the residential uncontested eviction of your non-paying tenant.
ABOUT THE LAW FIRM
The Law Office of Jorg M. Rivera, P.A. was established in 2004 and operates D/B/A under the trade name of ATTORNEYS FOR COURT, filed in 2007 with the Florida Department of State. The law firm is owned and staffed by Attorney Jorg M. Rivera, a landlord himself, he graduated and received a Juris Doctorate degree in 2003 from Barry University's Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Attorney Rivera became a member of the Florida Bar in 2004 and a member of the Washington D.C. Bar in 2006, and practices in the field of Creditor/Debtor Law and Landlord-Tenant Law with primary emphasis in the areas of creditor claims and evictions representation.
The law firm ATTORNEYS FOR COURT will, upon request and subject to acceptance of representation, represent Property Owner/Landlord clients in Court Hearings and Mediation throughout the state of Florida in various County Courts. Attorney Rivera for ATTORNEYS FOR COURT, will, upon condition need of the eviction case representation, establish participatory association with selected affiliate licensed attorneys located throughout the state of Florida. The coverage work will be performed in full compliance with all applicable statutory laws, the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct and other pertinent Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
WHAT IS COVERED BY OUR FLAT LEGAL FEES
The Attorney's Fee of $195 is a Flat Fee for an uncontested eviction for non-payment of rent and it covers the following: (see below)
The Attorney's Fee of $195 applies to uncontested residential evictions (possession only) for non-payment of rent for non-government subsidized rental properties.
WHAT COSTS ARE NOT INCLUDED
The costs charged by the Courts for filing fees and summon issuance are NOT included.
The costs charged for the Service of Process for the 3-day notice posting and personal service of Summons and Complaint on tenants and the fee for the Sheriff for the posting of Writ of Possession and delivery of possession are NOT included.
ABOUT UNCONTESTED EVICTIONS
Uncontested eviction refers to an eviction action where the tenant defaults and there is no tenant answer, objection or counterclaim to the Landlord's Complaint.
ABOUT CONTESTED RESIDENTIAL EVICTIONS
In eviction actions, when the Complaint is contested by the Tenant, when necessary, the court appearance and mediation can be handled, if so requested by the Landlord client, by the law firm ATTORNEYS FOR COURT for an additional fee, a flat attorney's fee of $150 for a court appearance or a mediation appearance. If there is a counterclaim, the Attorney's fee cost varies.
THE RECOVERY OF DAMAGES FROM TENANT
If the property has been damaged or other losses have occurred and recovery of damages from the Tenant is sought by the Landlord, the Landlord's Complaint against the Tenant must include separate count(s) for the recovery of the damages from the Tenant. The cost varies. The Attorney's Fee of $195 does not include recovery of damages against the Tenant(s). For a price quote on this type of eviction, please call our office.
